Realisation & Redemption by Shristi Nangalia

The truth, the lie, the reality, the meaning, the existence, the absence... it is all in front of your eyes... NOT at the back of your head. Sometimes you just have to accept it, live it and get over it.

It is okay if things did not go right, it is okay if you fail, and it is okay if you have been broken to pieces… IT IS JUST OKAY. Life is not a smooth free-flowing highway, but the off-road you never intended to take. We all go through all of these things (and worse!) during the time we live. Some look for truth, some look for acceptance, some look for closure, some look for silence… And we do that in our own ways.

We want to be understood, to be accepted, to be loved. But I do not think ‘getting things right’ is actually about getting our immediate outer environment right; but it is really about getting ourselves together, understanding self needs (not wants), and setting newer goals. We should not be letting our happiness be dependent on the external sources. It should be more internal. We should be seeking for what truly will give us peace. Ultimately, the internal territory is much more rewarding and much easier to conquer, don’t you admit?

Once we start knowing and understanding ourselves, we begin simplifying the external territory… and eventually the negativity starts dissolving. This way, we get more time to foster positivity and, more importantly, harmony.

Let’s start getting more sterling rather than stellar… more true rather than terrific… more real rather than right.
